MS Excel 2016 includes a set of functions called cube functions that you can use to query data stored in certain databases. They are designed to work with Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) databases. These skills are beyond advance knowledge. To know more about Cube functions, enter the term in Help.
CUBESET function. Defines a calculated set of members or tuples by sending a set expression to the cube on the server, which creates the set, and then returns that set to Microsoft Excel. CUBESETCOUNT function. Returns the number of items in a set. CUBEVALUE function. Returns an aggregated value from the cube.
